Social entrepreneurship is gaining ground in the Netherlands. During The Impact Days, there is a wide array of public events and social meet-ups about this trend. This May there are several events in Rotterdam.
When people are more aware of what social entrepreneurs are actually doing and achieving, it makes it easier to do business with them. That’s why meaningful contact between social entrepreneurs, (potential) clients, large corporations, and policymakers is needed. For that reason a collaboration between the municipalities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, and Utrecht decided to host The Impact Days.
The events aim to make social entrepreneurship more visible. It’s all about personal contact and new experiences. These experiences should give the participants a better view of the opportunities that come with social entrepreneurship. The campaign focuses on support and collaboration that should lead to acceleration.
The Impact Days in Rotterdam
On May 19 and 21 May, The Impact Days Rotterdam organizes a cycling route along various next-level entrepreneurs like Sococo: The Social Coffee Collective, Eversom, Bakkie Trots and Stadshaven Brouwerij. During Rondje Next Level guides will lead you to these Rotterdam entrepreneurs. Rotterdam Rides and Thursday Gathering at Venture Café in Groot Handelsgebouw are other events. The Impact Days Rotterdam would not be complete without a festive closing. Therefore, the campaign closes Saturday, May 21 at OASE with an impactful program of music, art, food & drinks.
