Explore the city by bike during Rotterdam Rides

Rotterdam Rides is a cycling festival. The first edition is on May 22 and offers nine themed routes. Biergarten is the central spot of the new event, with fun activities for young and old.

Rotterdam Rides celebrate all the beauty of the city by bike. Beginner and avid cyclists can enter different rides. From racing in top gear and making wheelies in the Zuiderpark to a quiet playground ride with the whole family.

There is a ride dedicated to Feyenoord. It leads past iconic locations such as De Kuip and Coolsingel, where championships are celebrated.

The twin brothers Groen from Rotterdam are both naturalists with a penchant for journalism. They are broadly interested and specialized in ecology and conservation biology. They recently published a book about Eastern Europe. For Rotterdam Rides, they created the Backyard Ride towards the Ackerdijkse Plassen. There they will tell more about the animals and birds in the area. The way back leads past Overschie and Essenburgpark.

De Maas Ride takes experienced participants on a sporty and challenging route around the city. During the trip there are challenges.

More information about all Rotterdam Rides and registration can be found here.
