Unity in Diversity Rotterdam presents an art market at Weelde

Unity in Diversity is a platform that is interested in the evolution of culture. In a recent project, they exhibited portraits and artistic photo series of various individuals from the 175 different nationalities living in Rotterdam. Now they present an art market at Weelde during Art Week Rotterdam.

On May 21 and 22 young creatives, photographers and upcoming artists get a place to show and sell their work. There is photography, posters, poems, multimedia art, charcoal portraits, and more. Art lovers can find affordable art from €1 to €300. Unlike in a gallery,
the artists man their stands themselves, so that visitors can also meet the maker.

The Art Market editions aim to bring creatives together. With this art market, UID shows that art is made by creatives of all ages and backgrounds. The initiators want to inspire and motivate the new generation to immerse themselves in the beautiful world of art. The location of Weelde will undoubtedly contribute to this.

The vision of Unity in Diversity is always aimed at connection, unity and diversity, but also to enrich creativity. Art can connect one to a deeper layer of oneself, where one can live alone or with others. It can radiate or contain an inspiring or loving message. Art creates friendship and contributes to a better social environment and better understanding between cultures.

For this reason, Unity in Diversity offers various workshops during this event for children up to 17 years old. Parents can register their children via Eventbrite for the painting and spoken word workshops. In addition, there is a vibrant stage program with live performances, DJs and an open stage.
