Until the end of May Rotterdam is the home to the biggest international MINI event ever. Over 5,000 visitors from 36 countries come to the port city for the introduction of the latest MINI models. Over 600 coloured MINIs brighten up the city with their presence.
MINI is introducing several new models this year. During the ´International MINI Dealer Event´ (IMDE), these will be presented to all international dealers. From all over the world, dealers and partners visit and testdrive to get to know the new (electric) MINI Cooper and the (electric) MINI Countryman.
The Schiecentrale in the Lloydkwartier and a specially created Container City at Greenport B.V in the Port of Rotterdam (Pernis) form the heart of this grand event. The brand chose Rotterdam for its match with the brand, the Rotterdam Can Do’ mentality and the sustainable innovative nature of the city. BMW Group has already had a unique partnership with Rotterdam since 2018 in which they are exploring ways to increase the city’s liveability through pilot projects.
