Radiant Gradient by Studio Rashkov

Studio Rashkov is very much inspired by Rotterdam

Studio Rashkov is a graphic design agency in Rotterdam. The designers consider the studio as their playground. They can do whatever they like. From patterns to photographs, from notebooks to clothes.

Recently they rolled out ROTMAT, a city-inspired yoga mat. Famous Rotterdam buildings like the Willemsbrug, Euromast, Markthal, De Hef, and Erasmusbrug are pictured on the colourful and stylish mats.

You can now do the downward facing dog or have a picnic on top of the Erasmus Bridge. The choice and quality of the durable material make the mat multifunctional, comfortable, and therefore versatile. The ROTMAT is of course suitable for sports or meditation, but also provides the perfect underground during a picnic or at a festival.

But not everybody is in need of a mat, but everybody needs sun. Studio Rashkov made a set of illustrations inspired by the Rotterdam sunlight. The collection plays with the sun’s influence on architectural highlights such as Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, De Rotterdam, the Markthal and
Rotterdam Central Station. The radiant gradient-prints are available in three different sizes and perfect to brighten up any room.

Roffa state of mind is a set of illustrations with iconic buildings in Rotterdam like De Kuip and De Hef. Patterns of Rotterdam consist of postcards, notebooks and coasters. By repeating and mixing images of typical Rotterdam images they created a new visual language.

Studio Rashkov also collected letters that adorn buildings, indicate public transport or mark special places in Rotterdam. The collected letters all play – mostly unconsciously – a role in the streetscape of the city. The alphabet decorates a tote bag and a poster.
