After years of renovation, the largest bookstore on Coolsingel in Rotterdam has been reopened. This makes Donner not only the largest bookstore in the city, but in the entire country. If you are a bookworm, then you’ve come to the right place. For those who like to get creative, Donner also houses a large department with stationary, colouring books and coloured pencils. In the enormous stairwell of the historic building, the beautiful work of art by glass artist Andries Copier has been restored to its former glory, so don’t forget to take a look when you get there. Work by this glass master can usually only be admired at museums.
