Rowenta opens shop-in-shop in Tech Village

Rowenta, a leading brand in the field of hoovers for home use, opened the doors of its shop-in-shop in Rotterdam. On the second floor of Tech Village.

MediaMarkt is a stronghold on the Binnenwegplein. After a transformation, it’s called Tech Village, a new concept offering dozens of brands in consumer electronics and household appliances. The brands present their assortment in a more personalised way. Rowenta is one of the brands within this brand new shop-in-shop concept.

“This makes MediaMarkt Rotterdam Tech Village the second location worldwide to launch such a shop-in-shop concept,” says Julien Oltra, Product Manager Home Cleaning and Home Comfort at Groupe SEB. “After Milan, visitors can now get to know our product range and experience products in our shop in Rotterdam too. Our shop-in-shop at MediaMarkt is an ideal way to advise potential customers on which type of hoover best suits his or her personal situation.”

At the moment, Rowenta is rapidly expanding its awareness on the Dutch market. “Turning your house into a ‘home’ has become increasingly important, especially at the time of the pandemic,” Oltra states. “Our products, but also those of other home appliance providers, help you do just that. We all pay more care and attention to the household. After all, our home has now become a multi-purpose place because of the many home-based jobs we do.”
