Restaurant Putaine interior Studio Unfolded

Restaurant Putaine has opened with great succes

Putaine is finally open and it’s immediately the place to be. The restaurant is part of the unique Floating Office in ever-evolving Rijnhaven offering unique views from the spectacular interior.

Michael Schook and Eva Eekman lead the modern & seasonal international restaurant and bar. They have gained a lot of experience already with De Matroos en het Meisje and Héroine. At Putaine they’ve created an à la carte restaurant in the mid-high segment. The menu has influences from all over the world. There is a focus on vegetables and beautiful other products such as oysters and langoustine. Every season there will be a new menu.

There is an extensive wine list by Jacq Van’t Zelfde, filled with adventurous wines (mostly biodynamic, conventional and vin nature) and various champagnes and pet nats by the glass. Ben Lobos designed the cocktail list, which focuses on flavors inspired by the kitchen and the reduction of waste.

Putaine proudly floats on the largest sustainable office in the world. FOR (Floating Offices Rotterdam) is designed by Powerhouse Company & RED Company. With marvelous views from inside and out, a big terrace, a summertime pool, and a jaw-dropping skyline of the finest Rotterdam architecture.

Inside the interior has a hint of 80’s Miami. Artworks by Rotganzen enrich the restaurant. On the wall, STRAW shines. These light sculptures resemble old-school straws.
