PLTS Westblaak Rotterdam

Workout at PLTS in Rotterdam

Originally from Los Angeles, PLTS offers an intense workout for body and mind. Renée Vervoorn brought the concept to the Netherlands. After the first three PLTS studios in Amsterdam, there now also is a studio at Westblaak 161 in Rotterdam.

The former model and TV presenter explains the concept: “A PLTS workout is pilates meeting fitness. Focus and conscious control of the muscles form the basis. In fifty minutes, our certified trainers encourage you to forget the hectic pace of the day and focus on your body. It results in longer toned muscles, a rock-solid core, and a body that is in balance.”

Vervoorn continues: “PLTS offers an optimal training of flexibility, strength and controlled breathing. I was so impressed with what high-intensity reformer pilates does for the body and mind that I was eager to introduce this revolutionary form of exercise to the Netherlands. And it is catching on.”

PLTS Reformer Pilates Machines

The PLTS workouts aim to train the whole body – with a constant focus on the core, posture, and flexibility. Thanks to the resistance of the patented and handcrafted PLTS Reformer Pilates Machines. The users can add the desired resistance to create different degrees of tension.

The beat-driven classes are taught in small groups of up to 12 participants. Experienced trainers guide beginners and seasoned athletes through the exercises. Everyone is welcome, regardless of level and frequency. The studio is brand new, spacious, and fully equipped. There are changing rooms with rain showers, a good hairdryer, towels, and lockers.
