Chef Diego Buik opened his famous high-end burger joint already three years ago. To celebrate Diego’s and Brouwerij Noordt brewed a special beer. A dream comes true for Diego.
It fits in perfectly with the new slogan: The Flavor of the City. From day one, Diego wanted his own beer. And with the three-year anniversary, it is finally happening! In cooperation with the brewers from Noordt he made a fresh wheat beer. At the restaurant, located in the facade of the Luxor Theater near Wilhelmpinaplein, the artisinal burgers can already be paired with cocktails and champagne.
A spokesperson from Noordt says: “We always like to think along with passionate hotel and catering entrepreneurs. That is how the most wonderful collaborations come to life.”
The beer is not only developed to celebrate its three-year anniversary. It’s also the perfect moment to introduce DIEGO’s new identity. Diego: ‘Of course, the beer complements our burgers. But it also fits well with our new branding: ‘The Flavor of the City’. It doesn’t get any more Rotterdam-like than this. Brewed in Rotterdam-North and served in Rotterdam-South.”
The new slogan is the result of working with PR agency Today’s Specials. They asked unfamiliar people what comes to mind when they think of burgers. The answer was: ‘fun! When asked what they need when they think of burgers, the answer was: ‘The flavor of the city’. The new premise will be introduced at coming cool events and collaborations!
