MOMO Festival 2022 serves Balimaya Project and Spacey Jane

With the city of Rotterdam as a stage, MOMO Festival brings together the best mix of pop, performance and art. Motel Mozaïque presents the first twenty music names for the twentieth edition from 21 to 23 April 2022.

Among others, Balimaya Project, S10, Spacey Jane, Working Men’s Club, Sylvie Kreusch, Billy Nomates, Meskerem Mees and STIKSTOF will perform.

Due to the corona pandemic, the past two editions could not take place. But in 2022, MOMO Festival hopes to finally celebrate the anniversary edition. Of course, the Motel Mozaïque kept busy, organising concerts whenever possible and two editions of the smaller MOMO Fabrique.

The first twenty confirmations for the music program are: Balimaya Project, S10, Spacey Jane, Working Men’s Club, Sylvie Kreusch, Billy Nomates and STIKSTOF. Sad Night Dynamite, Finn Ronsdorf, Meskerem Mees, Hand Habits, Talk Show, Soccer96, Real Lies, Mysie, Jean-Michel Blais, Famous, Katy J Pearson, Jockstrap and Broadside Hacks are also present.

Balimaya Project and Spacey Jane

Yahael Camara Onono grew up in London. From an early age, he is interested in the musical legacy of his West African roots. With his formation Balimaya Project, he explores those roots and mixes them with contemporary jazz and afrobeat. Balimaya is a big band with seventeen members from the lively London jazz scene.

Spacey Jane quickly grew into one of Australia’s best-loved bands. The sunny first album of the Perth indie formation reached the second spot of the most important hit list down under.

Ticket sales

The Early Bird passe-partouts for two or three days of MOMO Festival 2022 are now for sale at motelmozaique.nl. This coming period, Motel Mozaique will announce more acts and special projects including the MOMO Art Motel.
