Holland Casino sponsors Rotterdam Unlimited

Holland Casino is the new main sponsor of Rotterdam Unlimited Summer Carnival

Europe’s largest multicultural street festival takes place in the heart of Rotterdam from Tuesday 26 to Saturday 30 July, with this year’s 35th edition of the Summer Carnival Street Parade. Holland Casino will sponsor the event that attracts more than half a million visitors on average.

The Rotterdam Unlimited Summer Carnival’s first event is the election of the King & Queen. This is the perfect opportunity for Holland Casino to tie in with the theme of the main characters in the carnival. The Holland Casino float is entirely devoted to the King and Queen of Hearts.

The Summer Carnival and the King and Queen of Hearts theme have much in common with Holland Casino’s brand and beliefs: diversity, fun, and excitement. The heart is the symbol in all communications, decorations, costumes, and various activations on and around the route. Holland Casino is also developing a limited edition card game, featuring the chosen King and Queen of hearts.

The Royalty Election of these Royals is on the 9th of July in concert hall De Doelen. The casino will also participate in the new Lighting Parade on Friday evening, the day before the parade. This is a (dance) show with thousands of lights. Several locations across the land will organize Caribbean Nights. Of course, the King and Queen of the Summer Carnival are also present.

Nynke de Ruiter, Manager Partnerships & Events of Holland Casino: “Rotterdam Unlimited Summer Carnival brings together 170 different nationalities. There is no other place in our country where we can introduce people from so many cultures to Holland Casino, our open character, and our beliefs. We are looking forward to a day full of excitement, diversity, dance, and seduction.”

Guus Dutrieux of Ducos: “They fulfill the sponsorship in a very creative way. With a surprising well-suited twist. The activations seamlessly connect to the credo of the festival: Inspired by Diversity.”
