Upon entering, you will already be overwhelmed by the beautiful, modern Art Deco style interior. With warm, natural tones and exceptionally luxurious materials and striking design elements.Β Both when it comes to the beautiful dishes, wines, and the choices of tableware, table linen, glasses, luxury soaps and body lotion, to the choices of sweets, which will remind you of your childhood when you leave the restaurant.
The stylish interior is once again created in collaboration with Jeroen Smeele of SMEELE Design, with whom they received ‘The German Design Award’ design prize in the previous restaurant. The thoughtful materials of walnut, leather and fabrics in natural tones and a hint of blue give the restaurant an intimate atmosphere with international allure. The restaurant has fine acoustics and has 50 covers in addition to a private dining area for 12 guests. The open kitchen and striking design elements are a real eye-catcher. The real eye-catchers are the air-conditioned wine area and the cheese boutique. Here guests can admire the extensive cheese collection on display.

Fred Mustert’s philosophy revolves around continuity and quality, not too much fuss, staying with yourself and the products and less is more. With his years of experience at de Zwethheul and La Vilette, he earned both restaurants a Michelin star. In 2008, Fred opened hsi own Restaurant Fred on the Honingerdijk. There he cooks the first Michelin star in 2010, followed by the second star two years later. His dishes are all pure and refined taste sensations, prepared in perfect balance. From tender king crab with caviar to perfectly prepared turbot with ox sausage and preparation of A4 Wagyu beef with a sublime dashi broth as the most stunning flavour combination. All dishes are served in combination with the ultimate wine-pairing experience.
