For 25 years, De Vrienden van Amstel LIVE has been a household name throughout the Netherlands. Since 1999, Rotterdam Ahoy has been transformed into one big pub every January. The biggest names all took the stage and this year the anniversary is celebrated during 20 shows with 28 acts performing during a nearly three-and-a-half-hour show.
Every show will be watched by 15.000 enthusiastic guests. Although almost all shows are already sold out, the city will know De Vrienden van Amstel LIVE is celebrating. For example, travellers at Rotterdam CS will be given a musical welcome by a giant jukebox.
And January 13, 250 Amstel pubs throughout the country will livestream the event. This way, anyone who did not get a ticket can still enjoy this anniversary party. In Rotterdam the livestream can be watched at De Vrienden Live, De Amstelbron and De Après Skihut.
