Inside Rotterdam - Forgotten

Forgotten Movies

The devastating aftermath of World War II is hard to forget. It’s amazing how such a short period of time can leave its mark over multiple generations. Some of its forgotten footage, however, has recently been found. Museum Rotterdam wants to give these films their much-deserved attention.

“Forgotten Movies” will present the discovery of new, remarkable films from the aftermath of World War II. This footage illustrates everyday life in war-ridden Rotterdam, warships, harbour destruction and the liberation in Hoogvliet. Museum Rotterdam is thankful for this discovery, and the exhibition will become a permanent addition to the museum.

→ Forgotten Movies at Museum Rotterdam, Timmerhaus, Rodezand 26.

Open Tues-Sat 10 AM – 5 PM, Sun 11 AM – 5 PM.
