Dudok Rotterdam welcomes Depot Boijmans van Beuningen

Dudok welcomes Depot Boijmans van Beuningen

The world’s first art depot is now accessible. The Depot displays the entire collection of Boijmans van Beuningen consisting of 151,000 works of art. Ten prints of these works are on display at Dudok Rotterdam at the Meent.

The connection with the city has always been important to Dudok, and art & culture obviously plays an important role in this.
The selected works will be exhibited for over 2.5 months. With a matching QR code, people can get more information about the works. This gives the visitor a unique taste of the Depot.

To celebrate the arrival of the Depot, famous bag designer Susan Bijl, made a special silver edition of her renowned bag. She translated the silver shiny building into a real Susan Bijl bag. The reflecting mirrors and colour of the building have been the inspiration for the bag design. The silver and grey nylon bag, called Mirror & Agate, reflects the light in the silver fabric. The sought-after item is for sale in the depot and at SUSAN BIJL shops and online at susanbijl.nl.

Dudok Rotterdam used the popular bags to form two impressive chandeliers in the middle of the brasserie. It is also possible for visitors of Dudok to buy the bags.
