Cruise Terminal Rotterdam lights up for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. To raise awareness of the impact of this disease the iconic arches of the Cruise Terminal Rotterdam will be illuminated in the distinctive pink colour of the Pink Ribbon until 31 October.

Those who drive over the Erasmus Bridge to the south will spot the five arches light up pink. Cruise Port Rotterdam and Cruise Terminal are both housed in the building. Together they are showing their support for this initiative to raise breast cancer awareness.

The Cruise Terminal (known for Dudok aan de Maas) has become an iconic feature of the Rotterdam skyline. The pink reflection in the water will allow Rotterdam to focus for a fortnight on the urgency of the research into breast cancer.
