Rotterdam-based Versatile Forever aims to warp the design- and production process of fashion and make upcycling the new norm. The designs are created from existing textile. The fall/winter collection Alone in the CrowdΒ is inspired by fandom subculture. With raw images of real supporters, dressed in unique balaclavas and one-of-a-kind sweaters and spencers made from upcycled soccer scarves.
Inez Naomi is the initiator of Versatile Forever and works from De Wasserij in the Northern part of Rotterdam. In her new collection, she delves deeper into the individual within fandom. In such communities, a scarf represents connection. The soccer scarves are used to create balaclavas, oversized jerseys, and a number of unique spencers. In addition to colorful combinations with eye-catching logos, scarves are used inside out. This results in a beautiful abstract color pattern. Making Alone in the Crowd a must-have for durable fashion-forward individuals.
Roffa Tribute
Being from Rotterdam, Versatile Forever also made a little Roffa Tribute with Feyenoord items.
Alone in the Crowd is available in a series of similar one-of-a-kinds in inclusive sizes from S to XXL.
