Rotterdam Fashion Week

The first Rotterdam Fashion Week is coming

From 8 to 18th of June Rotterdam Fashion Week takes place for the first time. A unique 11-day event that distinguishes itself from all other fashion shows by combining fashion, art, culture and sustainability. More than twenty leading international (fashion) designers will show their collection in Rotterdam.

The eleven-day event Rotterdam Fashion Week will be an unprecedented spectacle at various locations in bustling Rotterdam. For example, the Admiraliteitskade will be transformed into a real catwalk. The Rotterdam Fashion Week is therefore anything but a standard fashion week. Visitors can enjoy visual art combined with appropriate entertainment. Internationally acclaimed fashion designers also make an appearance to show their fabulous collections. In addition, art exhibitions, fashion films, music, poetry and guest speakers can be seen and/or heard and various awards to be won. All this in an inspiring setting, in which it is also about meeting and networking.

Participating designers include: Hu Sheguang, Jatin Kalikas, Eugenia Negruta, B-Proud Design, Jana Roos, Marjorie Fernandes, Ivan Donev, Sashka Project and Luis Barbeiro.

Sustainability Awards

Rotterdam Fashion Week 2023 shows that all aspects of luxury fashion can also be environmentally friendly and sustainable. The most innovative and sustainable aspects in the fashion industry will receive an award for this. There are awards in six different categories to be won. The categories are: RFW Emerging designer Award, RFW Innovative fabric Award, RFW Fashion stage producer Award, RFW Exciting catwalk model Award and RFW Fashion film Award

During Rotterdam Fashion Week 2023 there is also the opportunity to bid on exclusive fashion items and art objects from various leading (fashion) designers and artists. All visitors can bid on one of the items.
