Served opened the doors of its first eaterie at Coolsingel 8 near the City Hall and Hofplein in 2018. Now there is a second hotspot at the same famous boulevard next to WTC. Everyone can go there for juices, coffee, sandwiches, and even cocktails.
Despite the corona crisis and the accompanying measures, Served remained optimistic and continued with take-away and delivery. By expanding its business Served survived. Just before Corona, an own coffee line for home or office was founded. With compostable Nespresso Pods or Whole bean coffee. Served has also been catering birthday parties and weddings, but they also served companies like Shell, the Municipality of Rotterdam, and Coolblue.
So a second restaurant-bar at Coolsingel 60 isn’t that surprising as the founders are constantly looking for opportunities. The new spot caters to more shoppers and other audiences and visitors of the World Trade Center. At the new place, there is a new menu, new juices, dishes and not to mention the brand new extensive cocktail menu. At both locations Served serves coffee, juice, food, and cocktails all day long. A signature offering is the: Served Classic Blend with milk. With notes of chocolate and hazelnut, it still delivers a real coffee punch.
Inside and outside Served
The interior space of the new location is a bit more spacious than the location next to the Stadhuis. The interior concept is of course the same but with a different touch! You can enjoy people-watching during your lunch because there is a perfect view of the vibrant Coolsingel and the coming Rooftop Walk for example. But if you are looking for a quiet spot, there’s also room for that.
