Multicultural Rotterdam

Rotterdam Unlimited

Rotterdam Unlimited is the city’s most multicultural street festival and the biggest in Europe. For a tremendous five days, it will turn the entire city into one big, colourful extravaganza. The event is famous for the Summer Carnival on Saturday, consisting of a street parade with more than 2,500 dancers and 25 carnival groups — and, of course, the queen of the carnival. Another cherished highlight is the exciting Battle of the Drums, a competition between three Caribbean brass bands. Most activities and performances can be visited for free, and details are provided on the website.

> 24-28 July, various locations across the city.
