Bistrot du Bac enriches Katendrecht with La Petite Soeur

Bistro du Bac is a stronghold at the Deliplein in Katendrecht. A charming place for French Cuisine. In addition to running that restaurant, the owners have opened a little sister at just a stone’s throw away. La Petite Soeur offers drinks and small dishes.

La Petite Soeur originated during lockdown. Overnight the owners Joost en Maartje van de Braak had to be creative with the new possibilities. They came up with a takeaway and delivery service for their delicious French dishes and created a Petite Stalle right in front the restaurant. They served delicious French sweets, homemade croquettes, quiches, and oysters with a nice glass of wine. As they missed contact with guests with only their takeaway and delivery service.

The little stand attracted guests searching for that wonderful Joie de Vivre-feeling. So when premises across the street became available they didn’t hesitate. They have created a little sister of the Bistrot du Bac. Here everyone can come together for a special glass and matching dish.

La Petite Soeur on the Atjehstraat offers an atmospheric ambiance with a touch of French Art-Deco style. On the menu are petits plats, beers from Brouwerij Noordt, wines and cocktails.
