Kroon celebrates 4th anniversary with a festival

De Kroon is a bustling business complex in Schiemond. Next to Oase and Eaux Posse there are several offices, studios, a campsite, music studios, and a large outdoor area. On Saturday, April 9 the collective celebrates the 4-year anniversary during Kroon Fest.

De Kroon is an initiative by ERA Contour and Placebased & co. They turned a former electro-technical factory by Croonwolter&dros into a special place for makers. It gives room to entrepreneurs, start-ups, and creatives to work and contribute to the development of Rotterdam. Companies can become stronger here by working together.

De Kroon currently houses some 120 versatile different companies like Stoute Koffie, Rotterzwam, Isaac Monte and Stockhome. It has become a wonderful combination of foundations, commercial companies and social entrepreneurs.

"Inside

During Kroon Fest visitors can take a look inside the creative breeding ground. There are open studios, a market with creations and products made by the people of De Kroon and workshops. There is live music and of course, there is plenty of food.
