Kaapse Will'ns

Kaapse Will’ns is a new craftbeer bar by Kaapse Brouwers

Tsjomme Zijlstra founded Kaapse Brouwers after he had a job at the very first Craft beer bar in England: The Rake. He started the brewery and expanded to Fenix Food Factory, opened Gastropub Kaapse Maria and now the Kaapse Will’ns bar is added.

Kaapse Willn’s is located at Nieuwe Binnenweg, where Will ‘ns en Wetens Proeflokaal used to be. A somewhat legendary bar with a 24 hour permit. Nightcrawlers frequented this venue after every other bar in town closed. Jules Deelder regularly came in just to play some records. Café Will’ns en Wetens had to stop in 2014. After that the cafe stood empty for years. Until Kaapse Brouwers managed to open a new bar with a lovely terrace.

Now the most delicious beers are served at Kaapse Will’ns. Next to that there is also a big assortment of Jenever, the classic Dutch liquor.

Visitors can also play records, listen to music, catch up with friends, see a gig or enjoy a quiz!
