More gin in the distillers district

Jenever museum Rotterdam

Because of its rich history with jenever, also known as Dutch Gin, Schiedam is quite rightly named the β€˜gin capital of the world’. Nowadays, the city is increasingly called ‘Distillers District’, because of the many gin-distilleries that have recently (re-)opened. The National Jenever museum is located in a former malt wine distillery. Visitors can now learn about gins in a more modern way by smelling the spicy scents, learning about the best cocktails and see the development of the drink through the years.
