Highly recommended! Teds on the rooftop of the Schieblock

If you want to take it easy this coming weekend, may we reccomend Teds. On top of the Schieblock this all-day brunch restaurant has opened its doors.

Lavish dishes like the Chicken Avo sandwich, Philly Cheese steak, the Sugarloaf French Toast with Karaage Fried Chicken and drinks like Bloody Mary, Mimosa and Espresso Martini are served the whole day, with a side of Rotterdam skyline.

From the rooftop you have a view on downtown Rotterdam. The rooftop is already internationally known because it’s the  is one of the largest open-air roof farms in Europe. On the Dakakker vegetables, edible flowers and fruit are grown and bees are kept. For several years the adjoining pavilion was the location for a bistro. When the owner decided to call it quits Teds gladly took up residence.

Teds already operates restaurants in Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Haarlem and Leiden. Their unique philosophy of serving upgraded breakfast and brunch standards like poached eggs, french toast, pancakes, cereal, Bloody Mary’s and mimosa’s all day. Beacause of that idea is has become very popular.

Teds is open every day from 09.00 to 17.00 and is located on the Schiekade 189. Go inside the Schieblock and take the lift to the top floor, indulge yourself and enjoy the view.
