Hotel âme is nominated for a Entree Award

Many Rotterdam contenders for the Entree Awards

The Entree Awards are highly regarded in the Dutch hospitality industry. The winners in the thirteen categories like best new restaurant, hotel and cocktail bar will be announced on Monday 29 November. Several local initiatives are nominated.

Hotel âme is nominated as Best New Hotel with under 50 rooms. In this category, the jury looks at the entire hotel concept and its implementation. The interior, creativity, functionality and innovation are among the aspects considered.

The category Best New Cocktailbar has three contenders from Rotterdam: Botanero, The Rumah and George Cocktails & Food. The best new cocktail bar knows how to distinguish itself by the perfect balance between unique, professional service, hospitality, bartenders and cocktails in just the right atmosphere and appropriate decor.

Best New Hotel (50 – 100 rooms) has The Slaak as a contender. The jury looks at innovation, creativity, functionality and interior design. Good employment practices, entrepreneurship and sustainability also play a role in the assessment.

Best New Hospitality Project has Stadshaven Brouwerij as a nominee. These strong and large-scale projects are an inspiration for the sector and perhaps even for other sectors. Different elements are combined and reinforce each other.

Het Zalmhuis takes a change in the category: Best New Restaurant & Bar. In the winner’s case, the f&b offer, atmosphere, interior and service match the chosen concept perfectly.

In the category Best New Dining Experience, the jury looks at fine dining restaurants that have created a new, contemporary dining experience. The nominees distinguish themselves from regular restaurants in their own way and respond to today’s guests. Tres may be the winner.

The Next Generation category has a changing theme each year, which ties in with current developments in the hospitality industry. This year, the focus is on ‘brand experience’. The nominees cleverly deploy their company name on multiple channels and build a successful brand. Think of channels such as online, delivery, retail, events and apps, but also of collaborations with other entrepreneurs or organizations and visibility in the business itself. Sugo is nominated.
