Real daredevils can once again abseil from the Euromast. The landmark is a popular attraction and till September it offers the highest abseil in Europe from the viewing platform at 100 meters height.
No experience is needed for this activity, only a bit of gut is of course necessary. The adrenaline rush you get from it is more than worth it. The reward is the most beautiful view of Rotterdam. The experienced and certified instructors guarantee safety because participants are always secured with climbing belts and wear protective gloves. After an instruction, daredevils can step over the balustrade. For many, this is the most exciting part. The descent takes about 15 minutes, with a spectacular view on the city. Abseiling is an ideal activity for an exciting company outing, bachelor day or even for an original date.
For those who don’t dare to abseil there is plenty to do. Visit the brand-new coffee bar and concept store on the ground floor. From the viewing platform, it’s even possible to go higher with the newly renovated Euroscoop. At 185 meters there is a 360-degree view while rotating.
