Crazy Comfort puts on unique and sustainable bathrobes

In the spring of 2020 Jayro Stuijt was looking for a new bathrobe as Covid-19 forced him to stay at home. He couldn’t find what he wanted so he decided to make his own. Together with his brother and sister, he started crowdfunding for the bathrobes by Crazy Comfort.

The student at the Rotterdam business school asked designer Judith Glissenaar to create the patterns for four different bathrobes. The bathrobes are durable and of high quality. Founder Jayro Stuijt: “Sustainability is extremely important to us. The polyester in our bathrobes is made from recycled bottles. The cotton is ecological and contains no substances that are harmful to people or the environment.”

Some innovations are also made considering quality and practicality. The sleeve can be held up with a button so it won’t dangle in your breakfast. The loop in the neck has been placed on the outside so no tickling. Each design has practical side pockets.

The young entrepreneur Jayro Stuijt: “We wanted to make a bathrobe that is so good, you don’t just want to wear it on Sunday mornings. But also after a long day at work or as a home-working outfit. When everything is open again, the design will ensure positive reactions in places such as a wellness center.” According to the founders, the bathrobes: “provide a little extra cheerfulness every day.”
