Candlelight Concerts are a series of classical music concerts. Aimed at democratizing access to classical music by allowing people to enjoy live music and candlelit performances played by local musicians in various stunning locations. The Laurenskerk will be the backdrop for two concerts this Thursday and Friday.
Thursday, October 20 there is a concert with music from Vivaldi. Mozartβs Requiem will be played Friday October 21.
The concept seeks to create visibility and opportunities for fantastic musicians with a variety of qualifications and origins. Opening spaces that form part of each cityβs cultural heritage. Candlelight Concerts are present in more than 90 cities worldwide, with over three million attending.
