Want to spend a night in the Blijdorp Zoo with a view of the elephants or accompany a zookeeper for a day! This year’s lottery is all about the elephants. By buying a lottery ticket, you will be directly helping to expand the elephant enclosure.
One ticket costs €2.50. The prizes are great like an elephant. You can win a day with animal keepers, who will take you for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Two families win a night at the Glamping in the Zoo, with a view of the elephants. Or join the caretakers on a feeding round and scoop up poo. In addition, there are many wonderful prizes from sponsors who are very fond of Blijdorp.
Hilton Rotterdam, H2otel and SS Rotterdam all offer a suite for example and Patrica Paay offers a cosmetics package. There are several photoshoots to be won. Walsjérôt offers a wine tasting and Koekela offers cookies.
Expansion of the elephant house
As Blijdorp Zoo wants to expand the current enclosure of the elephants all proceeds go to this cause. The new accommodation will also house a group of bulls and give the elephants more variety and choice.
