BEST OF RTM – Cafés and Bars

Smooth Sippin’

There are plenty of reasons to visit Rotterdam in the spring. Hop on a bike and explore the city: from traditional Dutch cafés to fresh pastries and flat whites in quirky coffee shops, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Café de Bel
Café de Bel is a music lover’s paradise with the friendliest bar staff you will ever meet. Time stands still in this beloved local bar with its mahogany mismatched furniture, vintage bric-a-brac covering the walls, dripping candles and the hearty smell of smoky beer. Bearded Dutch rockers frequent de Bel to play chess or pool in the smoking room, whilst neighbours swarm around the bar to catch up on the latest over a La Chouffe. The vibe is incredibly relaxed, but on live music nights, it certainly rocks! There’s an enchanting quality to this place, which is further enhanced by the bargain prices. Revel in its atmosphere in a multitude of ways!
