Inside Rotterdam #12

Every place deserves an inspiring interior that shares the story of its location, history or conveys an experience. Discovering these unique stories and translating them into interior concepts is what Marlous and her designers at MW Studio’s do best. Their mission is to focus on the behaviour and needs of people in every design.

The hospitality industry and leisure market are their specialty. In addition, Marlous and her team are often asked to help create workplaces that are ‘non-standard’ and spaces where atmosphere and sustainability are important. Their portfolio includes projects such as shops, offices, schools and museums, for example, the café at the Tax and Customs Museum on Parklaan in Rotterdam, as pictured. Here, the team converted a sleek business setting into a warm living room atmosphere.
