Waluw is getting ready for two big vintage markets. September 17 and 18 it’s part of the two-day SeptemberCool. In December there will be a big edition, dedicated to Christmas.
Waluw is known for markets with high-end vintage design and fashion. Next to performances by top Rotterdam artists the market offers a large number of stalls packed with unique clothing items, crockery, vases and other bric-a-brac. The sellers are present from 1 PM to 7 PM.
The square is located right across De Doelen. The place where December 11, the Waluw Vintage Markt XL will take place. The first edition was in June. This grand edition is for Christmas shopping. The first edition settled around the dance floor in the hall of the iconic building. But this time the vintage vendors can be found at the Jurriaanse Zaal and the Feestzaal, under the famous chandeliers.
Food is provided by Maher’s Kitchen and sounds come from DJ C Cruden. The team of De Doelen offers in-house art routes. Waluw Vintage Markt XL start at 10 AM and ends 4.30 PM. The entrance is 3 euro (pin only).
