Mittwoch by Mark Bolk

Mittwoch offers German dishes with a Rotterdam twist

Lisa Meijer and Roos van Gorkom met each other while working at Supermercado. They shared the same dream of once opening their own eaterie. At Mittwoch they serve German delicacies like bretzel, bratwurst and flammkuchen, and Berlin beer and wine.

Mittwoch is located at the Goudsesingel, next to Rotonde which offers the same sort of history. Friends who want to do business themselves. The German restaurant is inspired by the alternative cafes of Berlin. It serves dishes like Flammkuchen, süßkartoffel salat with sweet potato and a bratwurst in a bretzel from Das Brot. For frühstuck you can order Apfelstrudel oatmeal or a Wake & bake with boiled eggs, roasted cauliflower, and Sourdough bread.

You can order coffee from the local Giraffe Coffee next to cocktails, schnaps and beermosa’s. Of course, German brands like soft drinks from fritz-kola or beer from BRLO are poured.

Mittwoch opening times:
