The popular YG movement studio opened a new studio at the Lijnbaan. YG now operates two locations as there already is also a studio at Westerstraat in the Veerhaven. The new location on Lijnbaan replaces the old studio at Weena, around the corner.
The new studio offers 2 floors filled with all the movement options. There are 2 yoga rooms, 2 exercise rooms, a massage space, and even a coffee bar.
YG is known for several yoga classes. Ranging from Power Yoga and Hot Yoga classes to Hatha, Restorative, or Yin Yoga-based classes. Fanatics can work up a sweat in the High-Intensity Training room and at the HIIT and Strength classes. There is even a full-on Boxing class. It’s possible to book a personal massage, one-on-one yoga, or training session. Before and after the classes there is room to enjoy the laid-back vibe while lounging with a shake or a coffee and catching up with friends.
YG now has more space for meditative forms

In our Lijnbaan studio, we now have even more space for meditative forms of yoga and breathing classes.”
The history of YG
YG started as YogaGrounds at Weena in 2016. A boutique studio. In 2019, a second studio opened in Veerhaven. The pay-off: ‘It’s all about the movement’ is a nod to the different forms of yoga and group classes offered by YG Studios. But it also is a reference to the close-knit community, the ‘movement’.
The company grew along with the development of this community. YG Studios now offers a complete movement concept, consisting of meditation, yoga, massages, HIT, box, and running. Everything to keep the mind and body healthy in our demanding society.
