Feel and hear the love. On Saturday 21 August and Sunday 22 August, the Park at the Euromast will be filled with passion and romance. As the traditionally Weekend of Romantic Music will again take place. This open-air music festival has been a favorite for several years. This year will feature a selection of national and international musicians and an exclusive Moonlight Concert with a extra culinary offering on top. As always visitors are invited to dress in theme.
The Weekend kicks off on the evening of Saturday 21 August with an exclusive Moonlight Concert. During this soiree, the audience can look forward to performances by renowned musicians, including the British double bass player Dominic Seldis (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), baritone Henk Neven, guitarist Eric Vaarzon Morel, pianist Thomas Beijer and soprano Laetitia Gerards.
Those who enjoy life to the fullest can order a high-quality dinner box to indulge in various amuses created by chef Raymond Mertowirdjo. His menu offers a Cucumber & Melon Gazpacho, Vegan Steak Tartare, a Smoked Mozzarella with Avocado in Clear Tomato Dressing and Open Pavlova among other delicacies. Day of Romantic Music
On Sunday 22 August lovers of classical music can enjoy concerts by, among others Hannes Minnaar (piano), The DoelenEnsemble with Maya Fridman (cello) and Maarten van Veen (piano), Duo Inside Out with Doriene Marselje (harp) & Celia García-García (piano) and the Amsterdam based guitar trio Trio Debu with Eva Aukes, Bas Gaakeer and Ward Reijmerink.

The festival has a new organizer. Jasper Scholte of JMR Event Makers is pleased that the festival can take place this year: “Organising an event in these circumstances era is a challenge, but we succeeded in conforming the Weekend of Romantic Music to the current corona guidelines for events. The character of this event is ideal.
