Old Scuola

Old Scuola, as the name suggests, makes old-school pizzas. Old-school Naples that is, with a thin base and a high, fluffy crust that is often a bit charcoaled around the edges due to the extreme heat of the wood-fired ovens. This restaurant, just like its bearded, tattooed pizza cooks, is cool. Outside on the high-windowed industrial building’s terrace, there’s a gigantic concrete table where diners can sit and enjoy one of seven pizza options and antipasti. The pizza cooks work flexible hours, closing the kitchen when the dough has run out.
