Rotterdam Open Doek is the place for short film. Only talent counts. There are no rules, themes nor age limits. Anyone who makes short films and thinks they qualify for the monthly big show-off on the silver screen in LantarenVenster can submit a film. Film and media professionals review all submissions and make an adventurous selection for Rotterdam Open Doek. During the four evenings, the makers of the films shown are put to the test by presenter Vincent Boy Kars and a unique special guest. This is followed by an audience discussion. Rotterdams Open Doek is the meeting platform and the breeding ground for the Rotterdam film world!
