The perspective shifts from the Dutch colonials to the colonised Indonesian people. Alongside these photographs, the exhibition also explores the themes of economic exploitation and the colonial war. As part of ”Dossier Indië”, the Rotterdam-based photographer Stacii Samidin created the series Merdeka!
