Jazz on the Meent x North Sea Round Town: Anniversary Edition

On Thursday, July 10, the Meent and North Sea Round Town are once again joining forces for a special anniversary edition. This marks the 20th edition of North Sea Round Town – so we’re celebrating with over 20 acts at 20 locations along the Meent! The day before NN North Sea Jazz, the Meent will come alive with live music.

From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the street transforms into a musical ribbon: from coffee bars to clothing shops, from terraces to concept stores. Expect intimate jazz duos, soulful singer-songwriters, and grooving bands. Shops will stay open until 9:00 PM, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Want a sneak peek? Familiar faces like Tallulah Rose (also performing at NN North Sea Jazz) and Nelson Latif with his refreshed Brazilian crew will be there. The jazzy neo-soul duo Jèryh Luz & Naom Walle will also perform, as well as NIA – a distinctive cellist and vocalist with a unique sound. More details about the Jazz on the Meent lineup will be announced soon.

Participating locations:

1NUL8, THOMS, Nespresso Boutique, Volvo Studio Rotterdam, De Huismeester, HAY Rotterdam, Syl’s Flower Power, NIO House Rotterdam, Zola Female, Cavallaro Napoli, Country House, De IJssalon, Cafecito Meent Rotterdam, Pol Rotterdam, Café van Zanten, Bar Pepito, Atelier Munro, ThePhoneLab, Vlaamsch Broodhuys Meent, and Wakuli.

Live nearby? This is the perfect opportunity to experience your own street in a new way. Already in town for NN North Sea Jazz? This is the ideal warm-up: low-key, accessible, and right in the city center – with live music up close, in the street, among the people, while enjoying everything the Meent’s hospitality scene has to offer.

Date and Time:

• Thursday, July 10
• 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Free admission
• Location: Meent, Rotterdam

About North Sea Round Town

North Sea Round Town is the fringe festival of NN North Sea Jazz. From June 26 to July 13, 2025, the festival fills the city with more than 350 concerts at over 125 locations – from parks, stages, and train stations to living rooms, jazz cellars, and the metro. Featuring emerging talent, established names, unexpected collaborations, and concerts in surprising places. North Sea Round Town shows how jazz and improvisation energize the city – and continue to amaze.
In addition to its own productions, such as this collaboration with the Meent, the festival includes a broad open-call program in which venues, organizers, and creators can apply to be part of the curated NSRT agenda.
