Chef Diego introduces High Slider

Everyone knows the High Tea by now. A bit boring right. Chef Diego Buik has developed a cheeky alternative: The High Slider. The perfect alternative to a traditional brunch or lunch.

The High Slider is three tender sliders that combine perfectly with Perrier-Jouët champagne. On the elegant etagere, you find a juicy beef slider, a crispy chicken slider and the tasty vegan variant.

Chef Diego explains the original idea: “Of course we are familiar with high tea. It is a nice concept, but not so exciting anymore. More of something to do with your parents-in-law. Time for an exciting culinary counterpart. That’s why we are introducing the High Slider: bubbles and burgers make for a surprisingly tasty – and a touch cheeky – combination. People often forget how well champagne goes with burgers. Perrier-Jouet champagne in particular, with its fruity finish, combines wonderfully. The flavour symbiosis with the buttery umami flavour of the burgers. The fine bubbles complete the flavour combination.”
