Frietboutique Bergse Dorpsstraat Hillgersberg

Frietboutique opens in Hillegersberg

In four years the Frietboutique has become a household name on the bustling Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam. It is the spot to get quality fries and ice cream. And although originally an Amsterdam enterprise, the third shop will be opened in Hillegersberg this coming Friday. The grand opening will be celebrated with free fries and ice cream between 12.00 and 14.00.

You’ll find the boutique on Bergse Dorpsstraat, the most famous shopping street of the neighborhood. The owners had been looking for a location in Hillegersberg for quite some time. When the beautiful building on the Bergse Dorpsstraat 16 came available they acted quickly. They want to become a true favorite among the locals.

Inside there will be room for about thirty guests, outside there is room for a cosy terrace. The Frietboutique has a varied menu. From the well-known hand-cut fries of sustainable untreated Agria potatoes directly from the farmer to artisanal meat, vegetarian and vegan snacks. These include bitterballen from Banketbakkerij van der Heijden, luxury lobster and shrimp croquettes from Patisserie
Holtkamp, oyster mushroom croquettes by RotterZwam and the culinary frikandel by Le Frique. Only on this location you can get chips with a stew from the renowned butchery B. Tol & Zn down the road.

The ice cream comes in sixteen changing flavors from De IJswinckel. Off course you can order milkshakes and ice coffees (with Gretel) and ice coffee (with Giraffe Coffee).

As the Frietboutique is very near the popular Bergse Voorplas it’s possible to order specially compiled snack boxes which the team will bring to jetty. The boxes are filled with bitterballen, truffle croquettes, frikandells, cheese sticks, and various sauces to enjoy on the water.
