François Geurds is a true Rotterdam star chef. In the Hofbogen, he has created a culinary destination. With FG Restaurant (two Michelin stars), a taste laboratory and Food Labs by François Geurds (one Michelin star). Starting September 26, Food Labs will offer an accessible lunch menu according to a new street food concept at S.O.S. (FG Food Labs).
S.O.S. stands for Soup, Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake with various toppings), Salad and more. There is noodle soup to which you can add your own toppings like tofu, chicken or shrimp and there is also a ramen soup with pork belly. There is also a vegetarian salad and a salad with chicken.
Okonomiyaki is available with tuna and pork. Other snacks on offer include an FG Burger, a brioche with rendang, a katsu sando wagyu and, most notable, a €50 hair salon with wagyu meat! Homemade pastry is also on the menu.
Located at Katshoek 41, S.O.S. (FG Food Labs) is open Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.. There is no need to make reservations. In the evening, you can continue to dine just the old-fashioned way at FG Food Labs.
