Young Generations of Jazz

Jazz is constantly on the move, not least because young generations continually provide exciting new impulses. One of the striking new sounds of the British “new wave” is Ezra Collective, a set of young musicians from the creative hotbeds of the London jazz scene. Fluid and innovative, they mix jazz, hip-hop, make-up, afrobeat and reggae into an upbeat whole that swings irresistibly. The TJ and Femi Koleoso brothers are mainly responsible for the latter, on bass and drums respectively. They visit Rotterdam to play the music of the brand new and first full-length album You Can’t Steal My Joy.
