Carhartt WIP Rotterdam Meent

Carhartt WIP is now open at the Meent

Rotterdam now has its own Carhartt WIP store. The popular streetwear brand opened a location on Meent 24-26.

The new shop pays homage to Rotterdam’s iconic architecture and music scene through unique, contemporary design elements. A thick, translucent glass wall on the right side of the shop adds depth but also acts as a display area. An aluminum speaker system hangs from the ceiling. It’s a tribute to the city’s strong roots in experimental electronic music. Other industrial accents, such as steel poles in tropical colours, frame the shop. Meanwhile, details such as rugs made from natural fibres, hand-painted solid wood tables and decorative plants provide balance.

The 120 square meter space will house Carhartt WIP Men’s collections, as well as collaborations and special projects.
