The Rotterdam-based creative agency RauwCC created the first virtual influencer in the Netherlands a couple of years ago. Since then Esther Olofsson has truly become an influencer with 43 thousand Instagram followers. She offers an insiderβs perspective on Rotterdamβs city culture and now presents her own NFT-collection.
The collectible series of limited NFTs features 15 of Estherβs best Instagram posts based on her archetypes and one highly exclusive NFT based on her very first video appearance. The sale of the NFTs further expands the storyline of the forever 29-year-old fashionista. The collection includes Esther the Shop-a-holic, Esther the Foodie, or Esther the Fitgirl. Buyers of Esther’s NFTs also get private perks, such as access to the Discord Channel and the link to Esther’s list of hidden gems in Rotterdam. These perks will be added later. Esther Olofsson was created out of the drive to pioneer and innovate. Esther Olofsson has an international character because it fits perfectly with today’s Rotterdam. She is completely computer generated and is developed in-house by RauwCC. ”She is very real in her beliefs and therefore very likable. But in the end, she isnβt real and will never give the impression of being a real person,” says Maarten Reijgersberg, creator of Esther and owner of RauwCC.
The story of Esther Olofsson
Esther was born in MalmΓΆ, Sweden. She moved to Rotterdam in 2017 and has been in love with the city ever since. She shows hidden gems of Rotterdam and knows all the hotspots worth visiting. Esther always keeps sustainability at the forefront when exploring these places.
Just as any real-life influencer, Esther partners with local businesses and brands that fit her character and personal taste. For example, Esther signed a deal with Postillion Hotels. Other examples are her collaborations with Museum Rotterdam, Margreeth Olsthoorn, Pizzabakkers and Didiβs Stroopwafels.
