Chef Alexander Wong is a well-known figure in Rotterdam. He began his culinary career in his family’s restaurant before attending the prestigious Culinary Arts Academy in Switzerland. Wong gained experience at renowned restaurants like La Pergola in Rome and François Geurds in Rotterdam. Co-founder of OX Rotterdam, Wong has now opened his first solo venture: Xīn, located in the Supernova Hotel. Xīn, meaning “new” in Chinese, reflects his fresh interpretations of traditional Chinese dishes. Wong constantly seeks unique flavor combinations, using the freshest ingredients to surprise his guests.
