Wijnbar de Avonden

In a characteristic corner building in the Kleiwegkwartier (Rotterdam North), two local residents longing for a nice pub in the area serving good wine, opened up their own wine bar. ‘With a lot of love and hard work’, say Petra and Seb, and with financial support from crowdfunding and a number of generous investors from their neighbourhood. In addition to the more than 20 organic wines from the ‘Old World’, most sold by the glass, you can order bites and platters of local cheeses and meats, which can also be ordered as a dinner plate. If you are not into wine, there is also Zeeland gin and Rotterdam beer on offer.
