Rainy Days and Sun Rays: Cocktails for the Spring

After the chill of winter, spring attempts to bring warmth and life back to the world. But if the cold overstays its welcome, you can still indulge in a cocktail!

Sit inside a cosy bar to get away from the rain or enjoy a sunny day on the terrace. Either way, these bars will have you joyfully celebrating the end of winter and the beginning of spring!

1714

One of Rotterdam’s favourite new restaurants of 2019 is technically located in Schiedam, and it’s the only cocktail bar in that city. Tai Pham and Jasper Stadhousers opened 1714 to serve a combination of Vietnamese inspired flavours as well as traditional Dutch dishes. Additionally, 1714 also serves cocktails made with local spirits. For a truly local taste, try one of their twists on a classic, like the Old Schiedam Old Fashioned with Old Schiedam jenever, black walnut bitters and a homemade juniper simple syrup.

Lange Haven 24-26, Schiedam / Mon, Wed & Thurs 3 PM – 1 AM, Fri-Sun 12 PM – 1 AM / +31 (0)10-4268948 / 1714-schiedam.nl
